Μία μαγική κίνηση του Βιντσέντσο Μοντέλα έστειλε την Σεβίλη στους προημιτελικούς του Champions League. Ο Ιταλός τεχνικός έβαλε στο ματς στο 72΄ τον Μπεν Γεντέρ και ο Γάλλος στράικερ δικαίωσε τον προπονητή του με δύο γκολ, όντας ο απόλυτος πρωταγωνιστής του αγώνα ρεβάνς των «16» με την Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ.
